 Connellsville's
Timber Day Celebration is a Community Festival, celebrating the beauty
of the Laurel Highlands, and spotlighting Pennsylvania's Timber Industry.
This event will be held one day only Saturday, August 30th and is
now in its eleventh year and takes place at Yough River Park, on the
bank of the beautiful Youghiogheny River.
This year's
Celebration will not only showcase a Great Timbersport Competition
but also (Back by Popular Demand!) a
Parade through Connellsville! Also Craft & Food Booths will be
open All Day as well as Kids Games by Amusement World, Face Painting,
a Basket Chinese Auction, a Car Cruise, and a Concert by the ever-popular
Kortney Jean & Stampede, and a Fireworks Extravaganza at
Dusk!
